I for one enjoy such advertisements when they are not obtrusive. What I mean
is that they post a single message (ad) and wait atleast two weeks to post
updated ads.

All the ads should be relevent to the message groups they are posted on. (i.e.
who would want to view an ad for gardening tools in a "comp." group?)

But all the ads should be made in good taste as the ad in question was done.

This is just *MY* opinion.

Personally, I wouldn't mind, except for the fact the newsgroups this
message was posted to are in no way related to selling anything. I think
there's an alt.misc.forsale somewhere.
