Read this Krakan !

This might very well be wrong newsgroup
to post in - but I hope to get in touch with
some of you OFFICIAL beta-testers..

I assume that you are a Beta-tester --huh?

I was, with win95 from oct94.
I didn't get into the program for win98 in time.
So I had to dig the win98 from internett,
MS would get their $ 50 if I just could have bought
this f... thing.

I run beta 3 - seems very rock solid, IMHO better than
than win95 sr2

Now the question:

I have done some serious testing with lots of s/hw,
almost all runs very fine.

But Adaptec Easy CD creator Plus 3.0
IS PAIN IN THE ASS !!!!!!!!

Every time I install a new software package to
test win98 :
I have to face a 6 hours of nitghtmare of
uninstalling and reinstalling this Adaptec software !!

And I just can't get rid of it either!

The problem is ASPIENUM.VXD.

Any ideas how to get this damn Adaptec Easy CD out of my
system and how to stop win98 crashing/locks up everytime I install
something new on top of Easy CD Creator ??
(I have pinpointed the problem down to that is the ASPIENUM.VXD
file that gets "corrupted" )

If this i a a known bug OK, I will wait and see the final product

Otherwise -- please take this serious -- Bill can't shell out
a product with such a major flaw.
