Anyone know whether win98 will support more than one processor?
I was going to move from win-95 to win-nt but decided to wait-and-see...

Thanks

Win98 will only support 1 CPU. NT is aimed at the market segement
designed for multi-processor usage.

Windows 98 will never support multiple processors. This is what NT was
designed for. Since a lot of Win95,98 is Intel 86 assembler and 16 bit
code it would be very difficult to get in SMP support into Win98. It
you really want then get an OS designed from the outset to support it
such as NT.

NT 5 will ship shortly after Win98 anyway.
