f1racing not running under 1713?

after a week of successful playing with build 1713, i came across
a problem with one recent game;
f1 racing simulation, by ubisoft...can anyone else confirm or deny it
running? it starts, then bombs out before the main menu.
cheers for any info, and ideas how it could be fixed :)
