Installing NT 4.0 on power PC

When installing NT.40 beta on my Power PC I use
cd:\ppc\setupldr
as instructed and after loading the initial screen and the usual drivers
it then stops with a message:
"Setup cannot find a keyboard connected to your computer"
I do have the keyboard connected or I could nothave typed the install
command ;-) Does anyone have any ideas what might be happening? 3.51
installed correctly.
An email copy of any suggestion would be appreciated.
