Backup Problem in Win98 Beta 3

I can seem to get the new MS Backup Program to work.

I have a Conner 800 internal tape drive. The backup program
recognizes it correctly as a QIC 3010 Backup device.

It seems to work fine up to and including accepting the files to
backup, counting the files and total storage, then stops with a
message 'Unable to allocate media buffers'.

I have a P133 with 128 mb memory. DOS shows 596 k free.

I can't seem to find any information regarding this error message.

Any ideas?
