How can I get Front Page to use the Internet
Information Server rather than the personal server
software it comes with?

The .html files that you make with Front Page can be placed in the directory where IIS reads its files
I think the default is \inetsrv\wwwroot, where the default page (ie http://www.yourserver.com/) is named
default.html. This filename can be changed somewhere with the administrator utility.

Yes the filenames can be changed, but have you been able to make the front page explorer
work with it. In the past when I've tried to open up our IIS site, Front Page explorer
chokes. Front page editor seems to work ok though.

You have to get the server extensions for FrontPage with IIS, install those
and it works great.
