Hello!

At the end (I presume) of the initial installation, my
Win2000 professional rc1 build 2000 hangs. At the
bottom of the screen it says "Setup is starting Windows 2000".
There is no way I can get past this (happens when
installing Win2000 server as well).
I've tried the txtsetup.sif-fix (disable ACPIOptions).

My configuration:
Best 1150 PII 266 laptop, Intel MMC2
128MB RAM
512KB level 2 PBSRAM
ATI Rage Pro 2x AGP 4MB
6,4GB HD
Installing (upgrade) on a FAT16 partition with NT 4.0 ws

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Howdy :)

Just a possibility. Not ALL computers (Especially laptops) are
hardware-compatible with Windows 2000. You might have a non-working
combination.

Hope this helps :)
