WIN 98 ERROR CODES HELP!!

I have a few problems with installing windows 98.
First cd-rom is shown as present, but won't access due to a code 15???
Also, my com port 3,LPT1 and joystick ports are shown as present but won't access due to code 18.??
Does anyone know what I can do to solve these problems..
