I've installed IE4, and for the most part I'm happy with it, now that
I've got it mostly under control. The one thing I'm having trouble with
is downloading pictures, or dragging anything out of the Internet
Temporary files folder. It seems there is a security block which is
trying to prevent me from taking anything out into the general area of my
hard drive. I found a nice JPEG of an FA-18 Super Hornet that I want, but
no amount of shift-clicking, dragging out of the cache, or "Save As ..."
will move it into a file on my hard drive that I can use. I could try to
use it stright out of the cache, but I can only view it with IE. I want
to convert it to a BMP and use it for wallpaper. I know how to convert
it, but I'm locked away from using the file.

I know they are trying to prevent me from getting a virus, but there has
to be an override. That or disable it. Effectively, I can't download
anything except via FTP, now. No more grabbing neat Web images of HTML
pages. Why can't I just shift-click like Netscape? I'll gladly answer
"Yes" to an "Are you sure?" dialog, if that's what it takes.

did you ever think of opening the file in the browser... and then
saving it from the browser? eh, what an idea....

Use Graphic Workshop 95 and go to the cache, and then choose the move/copy
files option...it works. Just copy the file to the directory where you
want it and Presto :)
