yeah, word 97 crashes Win95 too..at least on my machine. I can't get office
97 to work on anything...and I tried Memphis 1387 last night.

i had problems with office 97 with memphis and osr2 until i disables
autoexec.bat and config.sys before installing

I do know though that on my machine office 97 ran fine on Memphis 1387,
and now also in OEMSR2 (I formated and installed osr2 again).

Wasn't any reason to format and re-instal... you could have just
converted...
