Does anyone have any information on when Microsoft plans on fixing
the MIDI timing problems for native 32-bit applications in Win95?
The last I heard, the problems will be fixed but not until 'at
least 1997'. I'm wondering what the status of the fix is.

What problem?
The only problem I've seen is when you are constantly reading from the
HD!!!!!!
And thats not a problem, its called Get More Ram!!
There is a replacement in progress though for the multimedia services.
Its part of DirectX 4.0 called DirectMusic.
Its probably very much accelerated, so maybe the above problem won't happen
anymore.
But still, there is no timing problem.
