I have a need to let my MS internet server send mail. Is there a easy
way to let the server do this automatically. (IE notify me via email
when my guestbook are updated)

Any help appreciated

I remember a Windows NT command line utility (with source I think) for
sending SMTP mail. It is called Blat. I tried archie and it found it
(blat11.zip) in lot of places.

I suppose your guestbook use's CGI, so it should be a simple task (?) to add
that functionality with the help of a command-line util.

I'm currently working on an extended httpodbc-like dll,
which has a simple basic language linked to it. Queries will
be objects with recordcount, pageindexing etc.....
It will include e-mail facilities, and CGI-strip-down (Tearing of the
<HTML><Body>), multiple queries

If anybody wants this thing, (I think I'm going to make this
shareware) e-mail me, so I can set priorities for finishing it......
