I am having the strangest problem, and if anyone can help it would be MUCH
appreciated. I am currently evaluating NT Server v4.0b2 for our office server
when it gets released, and I know this is a beta and not everything is going to
work, but this is really bad. I boot the NT server up then fire up the office
Windows 95 machines and everything is working fine. All the programs are running
off of the server. Which is a P100, 32MB RAM, Adaptec 2940 Fast SCSI-2,
2GB IBM Fast-SCSI-2 HD. But if one 95 machine crashes and has to reboot suddenly
all of the IPX/SPX, Netbios connections quit working, when the crashed machine
comes back up it cannot mount the drive from the server. I go over to the
server and everything seems to be working fine, even TCP/IP, with the exception
to the Microsoft networking. NT's Microsoft Networking will not start working
until the Server is rebooted, this is a major annoyance as this happens several
times a day. Any help would be much appreciated if anyone has any ideas.
