Auto Dial with Internet Explorer 3.02 doesn't work.

Things to clear the autodial issue.
Removed IE 3.02 and manually deleted the entries in Registry
and the usual directories and files in System Subdir.
This did nothing.

Ran setup for IE 3.02 again and tested. No go.

We then dialed up via DUN icon and changed the Start Page to
something new and again nothing good came of it.

I had him search through the registry and found that the key in:

My Computer
HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock\Autodial

were vastly different from mine and that they won't work.
This is associated with TCP/IP and not IE.

He had:

AutodialDllName32 equal to "wininet.dll"
AutodialFcnName32 equal to "InternetHookCallback"

Mine were

AutodialDllName32 equal to "url.dll"
AutodialFcnName32 equal to "AutodialHookCallback"


When we edited it and made his match mine
his worked correctly again.
