Is there USB BIOS support in MBs yet?

I was reading the OpenHCI USB controller spec. You can have legacy
keyboard and mouse support through an emulated PS/2 KBC in the USB
controller. (UHCI allows this too).

However, the BIOS has to have some POST-time support, to initialize USB
controller and enumerate Human Input Devices, then switch from the real
KBC to the emulated one. Do any mainboards have this BIOS support yet?
What would I look for in the BIOS setup?

A MB without this BIOS support is still useful with future Windows
versions, just that it cannot be used with a USB keyboard (won't boot).

Does anyone else think we will start to see Win95/NT-only peripherials
and systems (ie no DOS/Win3 support) in 1997? Compaq has already
differentiated their personal and business lines, with USB only in the
former, and no USB for the Win 3.1 lusers.

My SuperMicro P5STE MB (rev. 3.0) supports USB. It has AMI BIOS dated (I
think) 9/25/96. I haven't tried using it though as I have yet to find a
USB device.

The latest BIOS (11/13/96) for DFI G586IPC does allow you to turn the
USB ports on & off - also shows up as active (when turned on <G>) on the
boot screen. Other DFI MoBo's may also, but I've not tested them.

Logitech's ScanMan hand scanner is available as either parallel or USB.

I have this mb, but have not used any USB peripherals yet. Are there
any available? Have you used them? Are they better/faster/etc?
