Win 98 and 2. Graphiccard

Hi!

On what does it depend, if a graphiccard works as a secondary video card
with win 98? The drivers?

Now I use a Matrox Millenium I as my primary and a ViRGE as my secondary (as
written in the ms notes).

Can I hope, that drivers from Matrox will let my second Millenium I work as
the secondary card?

It depends on the slot. The PCI-BIOS will initailize only the first found VGA
adapter and disable additional ones. Win 98 later will configure and enable
the disabled second adapter. By changing the slots you may change primary and
secondary. If one of the adapters is AGP and the other one PCI there is probably
no way to change the order.
