WIN NT Event Log Reporting, Filtering and Alerting

Windows NT development house Serverware Group have just released their
low cost, scaleable, Windows NT Event Log Manager - SeNTry ELM.

SeNTry monitors the condition status of Windows NT Server Event Logs
in LAN and WAN environments. Conditions determined by users as RED
are immediately alerted to the "Gatherer" server(s).* All Events,
less those filtered out at the Network Administrators option, are
forwarded to a centralised Windows NT Server(s) to a ODBC file format,
i.e. MS SQL, Access, Oracle etc.. Data retrieval and reporting is via
ODBC compliant products, i.e. Excel, Access, Word etc..

SeNTry ELM is a 32 bit application which runs as a Windows NT Service,
and has been designed as a simple but reliable mechanism for the
management of Windows NT Event Logs. The product is also designed to
be integrated with Enterprise Managers e.g. OpenView and NetView as a
"best of breed" Agent when these high level products are fully ported
to the Windows NT environment.

* NB - Available in an imminent release prior to the end of the year
is full MAPI compliance for real time alerting including wireless
communication to pagers and cellular mobile phones.
