we had a discussion about what Microsoft ist doing in developping for
NT Server. Some of my friends have heard that Microsoft will stop
developping NT Server, because they have to much problems with thre
server software. Here in Germany some big companies had changed to
Novell Netware, because Microsoft was unable to let the system run
stable.

I can assure you that Microsoft is not planning to jump ship on NT Server
any day soon; in fact, they are planning to turn it into one of their
largest cash cows (when the server add-ons are thrown in). Generally
speaking, NT Server is a good product unless you run a very large
enterprise (thousands of desktops or more), in which case some network
managers prefer Novell 4.x due to its NDS, which makes managing large
groups of users easier than NT4 (or so I am told; I don't run a network
that big).
