Go to my page which describes how to legally get Windows98 before
everyone else. Check it out at : http://www.jeffweb.com/win98/

On the contrary, you did not observer carefully. I am fully aware that
Microsoft sells Windows98 Beta for less ($30.00 plus S&H) yet the
resource kit comes with an 1800 page book which is well worth the extra
$$$. Thanks anyways,

As a casual observer, it seems like you are more interested in getting
people to buy this product through your Web site (via your Amazon link) than
in providing accurate information. Your site says that by buying the
Resource Kit (which has a 2/98 pub date) users can get Win 98 six months
before the retail release. In fact, MS has said for some time that it will
launch Win 98 in the second quarter, and in fact a May release date seems
almost certain at this point. As such it is really more like a 2 to 3 month
lead at this point rather than 6.

The resource kit will change somewhat between now and when Win 98 RTMs. If
people want a preview copy of 98 their best bet is probably to order it at
www.microsoft.com/windows98 and if they really want the resource kit most
would be better off waiting for the final version of that book. Unless you
need a lot of detailed info that may change in the next couple of months
there really isn't a need to get the resource kit at this point IMHO.

AND...

The resource kit is likely to change between now and the Windows 98
release...
