Does naybody know how I can upgrade my win95a to OSR 2.5 (OEM) without
removing win95a first? It says I already have an os and therefore cannot
install the OEM.

Help appreciated!

OEM Operating Systems will NOT upgrade over another OS.

The only way is to do a clean install...

You might try www.wugnet.com. This is Windows Users Group which runs a
number of the windows and hardware related forums on Compuserve. I don't
have the precise method but it consists of starting setup, shelling to DOS
before it gets fully loaded and changing the .inf file for setup in the DOS
editor to show it as an OEM update. This is done to the copy of the file in
use since the original on the CD Rom is not writeable.
