How to disable Function Keys F1 F2 F3 etc..., or reprogram them ?

Hi.

I would like to make my PC and Win95 a little secure with
POLEDIT, and others tips.

But I have noticed a problem : anyone could use F2 key or right-clic to
RENAME or to DELETE or to PASTE or to change read-onnly
PROPERTIES of files and directories !

How to disable the Functions Keys of my keyboard :
F1, F2, F3, etc... ?

Furthermore, how to disable the options -RENAME -DELETE
-PASTE and -PROPERTIES that are shown in the right-clic context
menu ?

I would like to know a way to disable them only for certain users (declared
in poledit) and not for the others (default users)...

Could you tell me how to disable the ability of RENAMING and DELETING a
file or folder completely, e.g., either by the right-cli menu, or by the
DEL key, or by the F2 function key, or by a clic on a selected file/folder
?

Thanks a lot.

You need to get one of the registry books and read. Each of your needs is
available via registry editing, but heed the warnings of the books, registry
editing can result in harmful loss of functionality and data if done
incorrectly. Several major books on registry editing are available at any
decent technical bookstore.

I speak for myself, no one else is crazy enough to allow me to speak for them.

Simple... Upgrade the system to Windows NT Workstation, convert the drive
to NTFS, and set directory permissions for people so that they don't have
access (other than maybe READ) for the directories you are talking about.
With 95, you just cannot get that level of security.
