Win98 expired!

My ver of win98 expired on feb1st, 98. since then, i have not been able to
boot up my system, it just freezes whenever it comes to windows to
initiate. any help would be greatly appreciated, i hbave been wrestling
with this problem for nearly 2 months. please e-mail responses. thanks

Well if you can boot to safe mode then that would be my suggestion... I have
a haunting feeling that you won't be able to, SO,
If you've converted to FAT32 then you'll need to get a copy of Partition
Magic and convert it back to 16
Then from the MS dos prompt reinstall Windows 95, preferablly to a clean
directory
Once back in windows, you should be able to remove Win98
either that or do a reformat and clean install form Dos

What you need is win98c.zip. This will disable the time expiration for
you. If you need it I can send it to you it is only 12K. I also think
you can get around the problem w/o reformating and doing a clean
install by changing the expired date. Just MHO
