Can someone please explain what I have to do to get multiple monitors
working in Windows 98. I have installed two cards but one has the following
error message:

Your computer's display driver will not work with Multiple Display Support.
Contact your hardware vendor for assistance in obtaining a display driver
that will work with Mutliple Display Support.

I have a S3 Trio 64 & a S3 Trio 64V+ installed.

I think with earlier builds, it only supported a few drivers. I am currently
using a Diamond Stealth 64 & a ATI 3D Rage & it works fine. However when I
put a ATI ALL IN WONDER PRO in inconjuntion with either card it would not
recognize the All in wonder. I am hoping when it is retail it will support
(and should) support many more display adapters. Of course when 98 is
retail, your display adapter vendor or MS should be able to assist you.

Multiple display can be a bit tricky. Check out the relnotes for the
version you are running to see which cards are accepted as the
primary. The primary display must be one of the listed cards, but the
second and third (running three now) can be just about anything
recent. When all else fails - switch the cards around. Some MBs are
finicky about where the primary card is read from.

In earlier builds the AIW drivers came in a separate dir on the beta
CD with instructions on how to implement as part of a multiple
display.

Warning - once you successfully set it up - there's no going back,
your wallet will never be the same<g>.

I don't know what's going wrong here, but I tried it successfully with
a Hercules Dynamite128 (ET6000) and a MiroCrystal 22SD (S3)
and Win98B3

Try to plug in the cards in another PCI-slot.

Greetings,
Christian
