NT NCR SCSI Install

I have a 120 mhz Pentium
with a 1gig Quantum hard drive
on a NCR SCSI-810P controller card
running Windows 3.11. This card is
a PCI device. MSD shows it at
IRQ14.

I noticed in the NT hardware compatibility guide
that this controller is supported, but, as
an 'embedded' device. I assume this
means embedded on the motherboard.

I've downloaded the appropriate driver from NCR.
When I try to install NTand it asks for the OEM
supplied disk it reads the disk and allows me to
select a 53C810 device.

Then the install program goes looking for that
device in my machine and it tells me there is
no such device.

Any suggestions?
