Creative Labs 2x CD-ROM & Windows NT 3.51 Workstation

I've been having problems installing my Creative Labs 2x CD-ROM
in Windows NT 3.51 Workstation. During installation, the setup program
asks me what mass storage devices I have. Since my CDROM wasn't detected
I pressed "S" and then inserted a driver disk for my CDROM. I went to
"other" and saw my cdrom listed. I hit enter and then the drive light
for the A: drive turned on. Unfortunately my computer just sat there.
The A: Drive's light stayed on, but the cdrom's light didn't do anything
and the setup program halted.

I have a 2x CD-ROM, creative labs, I believe a the device driver is
a MKECR-563. It is a proprietary CD-ROM interface. E-mail

Roger,

Try installing the drive as a Panasonic CR-563. Press "S" and then select it
off the list, don't use the driver diskette.

After you press "S", select Panasonic CD-ROM. MKECR-563 is a Panasonic.
