XP Standby (S3) Problem

Hi all

When I set XP (SP2) to Standby, it seems to go into standby easily
enough but when I turn my machine on again it boots up as if I had shut
it down, not put it into standby.

I have enabled S3 in my BIOS (admittedly after installing XP) and I've
tried the MCE Standby Tool but that didn't help.

Anyone got any ideas?
