Installing Indeo 5 codec

*Sigh*. I'm really tired of ironing out these bugs stemming from my
forced reinstall of NT after the ASUS busmastering driver killed it...

The game Battlezone requires the Indeo v5 video codec. Apparently, this
is installed by SP3, for I had no problems with the video in this game
before. Now, the video segments won't play. A search of the manual
indicated that Indeo 5 is required. No problem. I got the Indeo install
utility from Intel and ran it.

It will install everything except the video v5 codec! Audio, v3 and v4
codecs, plug-ins, no problem. But it says that it can't install the v5
video codec because of "access denied." I have maximum supervisor
privileges set.

Where does the Indeo stuff live on the hard drive? And why would I be
getting this error, even after a fresh reboot and with all apps shut
down?

Thanks...
