I need help uninstalling Windows NT in a configuration that has Windows NT and Windows 95.

Prior to installing Windows 95, I had Windows for Workgroups v 3.1.1 and Windows NT v 3.5 workstation
configured. When the system booted up, Windows NT provided a menu with options to either startup MS-DOS (from
which WFW could be started up) or Windows NT. When I decided to upgrade WFW to Win 95, I also decided that I
really didn't want Windows NT anymore, but there is no apparent way to uninstall it. I went ahead and
installed Win 95, but not knowing how to uninstall Windows NT, I still get the Windows NT menu. How
do I remove Windows NT so that Windows 95 is in control from boot-up.

Thanks!

Susan

Delete from the root boot.ini, bootsect.dos,
ntdetect.com, and ntdlr. Then you will have to boot from a floppy disk
and run sys c: to make the machine bootable again. If you don't, It
will not boot. This was to back a machine out to dos 6.22 & WFW, but I
think win95 works the same way. Don't forget to delete the nt
directories too.
