Every time someone prints I get 4 new information messages in the Event
Viewer, under System Log :
DATE | TIME | SOURCE | CATEGORY | EVENT | USER | COMPUTER
-------+---------+--------+----------+-------+------+------------
5/8/94 | 4:48:44 | Print | None | 17 | USER | VANEG3
5/8/94 | 4:48:45 | Print | None | 17 | USER | VANEG3
5/8/94 | 4:48:45 | Print | None | 10 | USER | VANEG3
5/8/94 | 4:48:45 | Print | None | 13 | USER | VANEG3
with descriptions (respectively) :
- Document 3, Notepad - (Untitled) owned by USER was set on HP-4.
- Document 3, Notepad - (Untitled) owned by USER was set on HP-4.
- Document 3, Notepad - (Untitled) owned by USER was printed on HP-4 via
port LPT1:. Size in bytes: 112; pages printed: 1
- Document 3, Notepad - (Untitled) owned by USER was deleted on HP-4.
How can I get rid of these messages ? They're filling up my log with
useless information.
- NO auditing has been set for the printer in the Printer Manager.
- NO object or file access has been set in the User Manager.
- This is a local printer.
Any ideas would be appreciated...
Thanks,
Socratis
