We are a small graphic design studio with two computers running NT
Workstation 3.5. We have set up an ethernet network using NetBEIU
Protocol. One of the computers is connected to the Internet using
TCP/IP. The problem is that the second computer cannot access the
Internet connection across the ethernet connection.

I'm very new at networking and don't know if this is possible to
configure. I've looked through all the documentation, such as it is,
as well as the FAQs for this newgroup and find no answers. This seems
like a fairly simple problem if you know what you're doing, but.....

Does anyone know if this can be done and what the steps are for
configuring this setup?

Thank for any help. Bob Crowley

You will have to set up the computer that is attached to the Internet
as a router then you can attach the second computer through
the ethernet card. If you are running Windows for Workgroups, then you
can get the tcp/IP stack from microsoft free.

How does the Win95 Peer to Peer Networking function? I have a machine
running either WinNT3.5 Server or Win95. I have linked an IBM ThinkPad to
the NT Server over Ethernet. I have used Lantastic & WfWG Peer to Peer
networks but it is not clear to me whether I can link two Win95 machines
together, without using NT3.5 server.
