Running batch files in background

Hi,
I'm having following problem on my NT-server :
when I try to run a batch file in background (like with the AT
command) it seems not to do anything. I use the cmd /s command to let
my batch file start. When I start the batch file from the MS-DOS
prompt it works OK, but when I start it with "at ..." it does nothing.
I had a batch file to backup my hard disk, which ran OK with NT3.51. I
upgraded to NT4 (build 1381) and my backup procedure stopped. Any
suggestions would be very appreciated.
