Hello everybody.

I'm configuring Exchange 5.5 under NT 4.0, and it seems to work OK.
Some of the users probably will demand mail forwarding because they have
some email accounts out of our organization, and I wonder if Exchange
allows mail forwarding.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Users should be able to use the Inbox Assistant tool to forward, copy, or
re-direct some or all of their e-mail.

yes but surely they would have to be there to open the inbox in the
first place?

what we need here is a way for exchange to keep a copy in the inbox
for when someone comes into the office, but also forwards a copy to
another internet address for picking up when the user is mobile.

wrong. Once you set it with the inbox assistant, the rules are being
kept on your exchange server. There must be a way to do it without
needing client SW, but I didn't find yet. You can set whichever rules
you'd like, after you did that once the user will receive the msgs to
both locations.
