If I have NT 4.0 running on a FAT file system, can I safely use the
Norton Utilities Speedisk, running from DOS, to defrag my system?

Hello,
I use it successfully on my NT 3.51 partition, but then, I do
not use long file names.

If you are using FAT and are not using long file names you can use this
program. Otherwise it will only corrupt your hard drive and make it
worthless.
