Can you produce any third party citations as to this anecdote.

"Some say the 2.4 kernel was released before it was ready because

Who are 'some` in the current context. What exactly did 'sone'
say regarding an early release. What evidence do you have that 'some`
bodies accertions are a true and accurate reflection of reality and
not just you fudding the kernel developers.
