Folder's View help please

Hello Everyone!
I have a small problem when browsing folders using windows Explorer. When
I open a folder all objects (files or folders) are big due to the fact that
is set up to view as Large icons then I change the view settings so they can
be on view details or view list mode , then after five minutes when I go
back to open the same folder it gives me Large icons. How can I prevent
this??. On 2000 if I go to Tools then Folder options and I click on View tab
it gives me the setting to select Like Current Folder. What can I do if I
am using Windows4.0 Thanks in advance !!
