Hello, again, NT gurus. This is your ol' pal Stinky Weezleteeths!
This is a post about a whale. NO! This is a post about DNS! :)

After I have loaded the dosclient TCPIP protocol,
I try to run the DNR tsr for Domain Name Resolver, but I get the
following error: "DNR0101: The value for keyword BINDINGS not found in
TCPUTILS.INI file by DNR." The readme.txt file that comes with dos client
says, "If you specify the MS TCP/IP protocol during setup, you will now
see an additional dialog box after you have used the Advanced button in the
MS-TCP/IP Configuration dialog box. This new dialog box, DNR and Sockets
Settings, is used only if your MS TCP/IP network has a domain name service
(DNS) server." I don't see the Advanced button ANYWHERE during setup, and
I'm not quite sure what to hard code into the TCPUTILS.INI so the DNR.exe
file will work.

Any help/suggestions would be, of course, greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I think the readme.txt file contains wrong information. When installing the
MS Network Client
You can never see the 'advanced button'. Only you can do is hard coding the
hostname.
Below is a sample tcputils.ini.

[tcpglobal]
drivername=GLOBAL$
hostname=sun <<=====

[sockets]
drivername=SOCKETS$
bindings=TCPIP_XIF
numsockets=4
numthreads=32
poolsize=3200
maxsendsize=1024

[telnet]
drivername=TELNET$
bindings=TCPIP_XIF
nsessions=0
max_out_sends=0

[DNR]
drivername=DNR$
bindings=TCPIP_XIF
nameserver0=147 47 1 1
nameserver1=
domain=kren.nm.kr
