I have 2 Windows machines scheduled to dial-up at a certain time. I would
like to have a process run shortly after the connect, but neither machine
knows the other's IP address.

I've seen several programs (Here, DynamIP) that will post the machines
current address to an HTML file on a host, but this requires user
intervention to retrieve the address.

Another program, DynaConnector, posts the address then pulls other address
and updates the HOSTS file locally. This is exactly what I want, but the
files it creates are always 0 bytes. I'm stuck.

Is there a software program that will accomplish this?

If you're using the Internet, you might consider Winserve's Public or
Commercial WINS Server services - see http://www.winserve.com.

Go visit www.winserver.com. They provide a free WINS server. You can
share your computers over the Net. Great stuff. Highly recommended.
