This might seem like kind of a trivial matter, but here goes anyways...

Back when I was running Windows with a PC speaker, I had sound (primitive
as it may be) when I was running solitaire or reversi or any of those
little games. Now with a SoundBlaster, I have none. Is there some way
I can get it to beep to do anything again when I move the cards or must
I deal in silence? :)

Yep--dig up your SB manual and you'll find out how to enable PC speaker sound to play
through the SB. I can't remember if it was a jumper or an option in on of the SB set-up
menus--you'll hafta check.

Good Luck!

On my SB16-ValueEd. this includes opening the PC, find the wires from the
motherboard to the internal speaker, cut them loose, and wire them to a plug
on the soundcard. Ugly. I haven't done it.

I have the SB16 and I located which pins on the motherboard were to the
speakers, and then, instead of cutting or anything like that, I just pulled
off the wires going to them, found a few extra jumpers lying around and
connected the pins on the motherboard to the corresponding pins on the SB
without having to solder, or cut the original wiring using the extra jumpers.

Sorry if I rambled, hope it helps.
