Hi!

I've been using a version of X-Windows which has a fun little program which creates
cockroaches on the desktop (urgh!). These roaches crawl the desktop and hide under
windows and icons (they can also be squashed by clicking on them!). I currently use
a PC with Windows 3.1 and am finding life without this little program somewhat tedious - and
a bit lonely :-)

Does anyone know if there is a Windows equivalent to this "utility" and, if so, where it can
be found.

TIA,

Chris

ps. I don't read this newsgroup often so I'd be grateful if all responses could be e-mailed

Don't know of a Win3.x version, but you can

http://coyote.csusm.edu/cwis/winworld/nt.html

and pick up "ntroach.zip". Works fine on NT and Windows 95.

You can find it at ftp.cica.indiana.edu or one of its mirrors under
pub/pc/win3/games (I think)
it'll be called roach.zip or something. I downloaded it once. Didn't like it
as much as you do I guess, but different strokes for different folks :)

It is called winroach, or just roach. It should be around in cica or
simtel. Its pretty boring though if you use progman. It just hides
under the non-minimized progman, not the icons in progman.
