I've got a problem on a Packard Bell Windows 95 b machine!

When I reboot the desktop background wallpaper doesn't stay.

It shows up first but when win95 is completed loaded a last program is
been executed named "Windows 95 Setup". This deletes or changed the
wallpaper back to the original pbhouse.bmp

I did manage to disable the pbhouse.bmp but now any new wallpaper is
been reset to no wallpaper at all!

I already tried changing autoexec.bat, config.sys, win.ini,
winboot.ini and registry "user" & "machine" run-entries. What else is
there that could start at the end of a boot?

Start regedit, expand the following key and look in the right
window for "mdac_runonce". If you find it, delete it.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

download a nice free software called freshui from www.freshdevices.com
and go "windows interface -> desktop -> wallpaper -> wallpaper options".
edit setting "allow user to change wallpaper" to be green "yes". others
should check out freshui too, quite nice tuneup tool for win95/98/me/xp.
