I just recieved windows Nt. I'm using Nt back office server and windows nt
workstation for my floor computers at a library. I need all the help I can
get. I've been reading book after book and none of the books seem to talk
about the concept.
Do the workstation computers at sign in check with the server to check
user rights or are all the user rights on each station?
Do I need to install a DNS server on my server in order to use Microsoft
Exchange?

User rights and policies are maintained under NT server.

Hmm.. you don't really *have* to... but *I* would.

Highly recommended: Windows NT Server 4.0 Unleashed available thru
Amazon.com

Also the Windows NT Server resource kit (Lots of good info in these)
