I have tried putting numerous programs in the startup and they will not
work. Why is this? The office shortcut bar is in the startup and it
starts up without a problem. Any help one could give me as to why startup
will not work would be great. Thanks much!

you should double check that the program .exe file is correct in the
start menu. you can do this by going to start>programs>startup> and right
clicking on the shortcut or you can just add them by right clicking the on
taskbar in the settings menu in the start menu. then click start menu
programs the rest is easy
