Hi all, i'm stuck on that issue: wince 5.0 device with usb gprs modem,
dial up connection configured.
Connect/disconnect remote connection working fine.
Then, unplug usb modem, and replug it.
The driver is correctly unloaded and reloaded, i can see it in
device.exe loaded modules.
The registry key under HKLM\Drivers\Active is correctly recreated.
COM port comunication is functioning, if I try querying modem port
with standard AT commands, I always receive replies from it.

BUT...if I try to reopen the dial up connection, I got "The modem is
not plugged in or is out of service. Connect a modem to your computer
and try again".

How can I handle that? Is there any service or other software layer I
can stop/start/restart/reset to make connection working again WITHOUT
rebooting my device?

thanks, fabio

Fabio, what brand is the modem that you tried to use?
