Active Sync error after disconnect iPAQ

installed on WinNT4 SP6a. Could not quite get rid of it, a port monitor
showed that data was still being sent between the WinCE machine and the
desktop. I forget where it is, but try unchecking "Sync Automatically when
serial cable connected" on the handheld, and in active sync, uncheck "Sync
Continuously."
Consider yourself lucky that you were still able to get screenshots of the
error. When my workstation went down, it usually took the kernel with it as
well. The IM guys came up with a small batch file that I started using
prior to removing the handheld (Jornada 430se). Basically it just consisted
of the command "STOP xxxxxxxx.exe" which is pretty much the same as
endtasking activesync before removing the handheld.
