Your normal.dot file has been modified and needs to be replaced.
To find out where it is located, run word, close the document,
do File - New. Right click on the Blank Document icon
and choose Propeties. For me it was:
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates
To create a new normal.dot create a blank page with no text
then save it as type 'Document Template' in the same folder
as above as normal2.dot
Close all instances of Word. Use explorer to go to the folder
where it is stored, and rename normal.dot to something else,
rename normal2.dot to normal.dot.

Thanks for replying Lee. I was able to save the normal.dot to
Document Template, but I don't know what you mean above by "in the
same folder as above as normal12.dot". Also, I tried to use Internet
Explorer to go to the folder where Document Template is stored, but
could not do it. I don't have a file called normal12.dot either.
Thanks for the follow up.
