Can't run The Print Shop Deluxe on Windows XP

Hi, I have the Print Shop Deluxe software (about 12 years old) and
when I run the program on Windows XP, I keep getting the message
"PSDELUXE caused a General Protection Fault on module USER.EXE at
0001:67AC."

I have searched the troubleshooting on Broderbund's site and stated
that I must remove several fonts for the program to run. I don't
think that this is the case and will not remove my fonts.
Are there any alternatives to this solution? Thank you very much.

Yeah: try a program that was sold in this century.
Do you own any programs on that computer that are newer than 12 years
old?
Looks like this is gonna be another one of those "Fine, I'll withdraw
from the group" things.
