Hello Everyone,
A friend of mine would like information about real time UNIX kernel
named "Regulus". The above product is marketed by 'Alcyon' (?). Any information
about the product or the company (viz. phone number, address or even full name)
will be appreciated.

Please email your response as do not usually read the above newsgroups.

With a big thank you,
-ashok

'Regulus' is a System III based ***X clone, with V6, V7, and SysV
extensions (supposedly), written by Alcyon, Inc. of San Diego CA.
there are implementations for the 68000, 68020, 68030 (Real Soon Now),
the i386, and a few others. It is a fairly good "real time" kernel, and
looks a lot like UNIX in most ways. There is an optimizing C compiler,
and most of the tools work . . .

Alcyon is now a subsidiary of SBE, Inc., (who make Multibus & VMEbus)
boards -- they are in Concord CA, and their phone # is (415) 680-7722.
