Hi,

I'm new to LynxOS and very much appriciate if you could help me by answering
the following questions;

* Why should I select LynxOS instead of RT-Linux, VxWorks, Embedded NT,
Windows CE or QNX?
Is there any comparison table showing plusses and minuses of these
RTOSs?

* Can I install LynxOS on a (hard)diskless, standalone PC/104 system with
x86 and/or Pentium processor?
What is the min memory requirements for such a system?

* Should I have to use LynxOS platform for software development ?
Can I use Windows NT/95/98 for software development for LynxOS?
What kind of development tools available for LynxOS?

* Is there any public/comercial domain to find varios device drivers for
LynxOS?
Any PC/104 based CAN bus interface board its driver for LynxOS?
How easy/difficult to write device drivers in LynxOS?

* What about LynxOS and development tools and licence prices?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!

Good questions, Albert. I too am investigating Lynx against the OS's you
mentioned and would appreciate any feedback from veteran LynxOS developers.
While I think we can get the answers to most of our questions from Lynx
sales representatives, I would really appreciate candid feedback in this
newsgroup about Lynx support in terms of tool base and technical help. Are
you generally happy and feel it is a "quality" product or do you find
yourself hitting roadblock after roadblock, bug after bug?
