I would like to refer to TWO petitions:

• One of them exists

• The other does not (yet)

"Create A Native Linux Google Drive Application"

25,000 signatures and counting.

This is the other petition, the one that does not exist.

Comment (by Travis Banger):

The community created a petition in MoveOn dot org asking Google to add
native Google Drive support for Linux. After more than 25,000 signatures
Google has been ignoring us.

Let's say that we create a parallel petition for CyberDuck to restore
Google Drive support: Can the developers please tell us the minimum
number of votes that would be required? That way we would decide
whether it is worth it, or we are wasting our time. In the latter case
we should consider the alternatives to CyberDuck.

Just because I don't know, what's wrong with gsutil? It (apparently) is
written in Python, and thus runs in Linux, /and/ it supports both 'cp'
and 'rsync' options, to facilitate file transfer to and from Google Drive.

Just asking.
